Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) Responsibilities:The Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) will evaluate quality targets and SOPs and ensure they are communicated, understood and consistently executed within the pharmacy. The PIC will ensure that accreditation and regulatory standards are met and maintained and will manage the processes related to internal and external audits and accreditation reviews. The PIC will monitor all licensures within the pharmacy and ensure compliance with all related requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Collaborates with leadership to evaluate procedures and practices, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and recommend improvements, as necessary, that optimize the pharmacy care management process
2. Communicates SOPs to staff to assure understanding and ensure activities are performed to CVS standards as well as applicable regulatory requirements
3. Ensures quality targets are understood and are met or exceeded on a consistent basis. Works with Pharmacy leadership to establish quality standards.
4. Monitors all licensures within the pharmacy, including those of all pharmacy staff and non-resident pharmacist licenses, and ensures complete compliance with relevant requirements.
5. Manages the preparation and execution of internal and external audits and accreditation reviews. Ensures accreditation and regulatory standards are met and maintained.
6. Assists in the development and management of Performance Improvement Projects for the pharmacyRequired Qualifications
Five or more years of pharmacist experience
One+ years of experience in a leadership rolePreferred Qualification
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
- Excellent proven interpersonal skills with the ability to teach and motivate others
- Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
- Meet or Exceed in Quality and Productivity measures
B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm. D degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy Maintain Pharmacist license in Hawaii

The typical pay range for this role is:$141,600.00 - $225,000.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
