The Manager Formulary Finance Operations is the subject matter expert on all research processes and systems, and is responsible for the thorough onboarding and training of all research analysts. Day-to-day tasks include leading one-on-one training for new hires, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to all team members, reviewing and approving contract setups, research results, and exceptions in the FRS application, overseeing the implementation processes of utilization management and rebate utility clients, collaborating with internal teams to ensure proper contract interpretation and administration, supporting management to resolve issues and complete ad hoc requests and analysis, and managing the execution of new initiatives and process improvements.This position works closely with key personnel and leaders from many areas across the CVS Health organization. A successful candidate will have the following skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and data presentation skills.
- The ability to inspire, develop, mentor, and engage a large and diverse team.
- The ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships across functional units and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Appropriately pivot priorities based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of work experience.
Formulary, rebate, and contract interpretation experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Management or team leadership experience.
- Pharmaceutical industry, drug products, and manufacturer rebate contracts experience.
- CVS Caremark Benefit Design and Formulary experience with prescription claims adjudication and the RxClaim platform.
- Microsoft Excel, with the ability to work with large data sets.

The typical pay range for this role is:$66,330.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
