CVS Health is seeking a Lead Director of Trade Brand Contracting for branded pharmaceuticals. This is a leadership position within a fast-paced, collegial environment, providing the right individual with an opportunity to positively impact the business performance directly at CVS Health across Retail, Clinic, Long Term Care, and Mail businesses. The candidate selected for this position will primarily be responsible for CVS ' Branded Pharmaceutical Category Management program - encompassing every aspect of pharmaceutical category management: developing strategy, representing CVS Health to manufacturer partners, negotiating pharmaceutical agreements and contract maintenance.We desire a strong leader with ambition and intellectual curiosity who can deliver positive outcomes via interpersonal skill and knowledge. The candidate should possess keen business judgment, excellent written and oral communication skill, and the ability to drive order and structure. -Represent CVS within the branded pharmaceutical supplier community, delivering superior relationship management and best in class branded product purchasing.-Manage all aspects of branded pharmaceutical procurement process including collaboration with external business partners to effectively support end-to-end contractual agreements.-Develop sound working relationships with internal stakeholders to support programs and deliver on enterprise goals including but not limited to operations, clinical, finance, inventory, legal, and supply chain.-Assist in the creation and achievement of P & L budgets and targets.-Use relationships and external data to generate product intelligence.-Attend industry conferences and stay abreast to changing branded market dynamics, product pipelines, and competitive offerings.
(Position may require 10%-15% travel)-The ideal locations for this role are Cumberland, RI or Northbrook, IL on a hybrid/remote schedule. Other locations & remote will be considered for the right candidate.Required Qualifications
-Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive business work experience, preferably in healthcare in an operational or client facing role within healthcare, retail, pharmacy benefits management or pharmaceutical industry.-Superior interpersonal and communications skills with the proven ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal form, including the ability to present findings and influence decisions across all levels of the organization.-Strong analytical knowledge base and financial acumen, with proven ability to vision, strategize, and develop actionable tactics against key facts and data insights.-Excellent organizational and time management skills with an ability to successfully balance business priorities and maintain a sense of urgency.-Leadership ability with demonstrated experience in strategic thinking, business analysis, project supervision, talent management, and people development.-Self-motivated and highly responsive with proven ability to take initiative and work successfully both independently and across teams.-Ability to problem solve, identify and remove roadblocks, triage and prioritize issues that impact one or more project work streams.-Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Preferred Qualifications
-BS Pharmacy, Finance or Pharm. D, with a MBA or other advanced degree.-Prior corporate work experience in a client facing or account management role.
Education
-Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in pharmacy, finance, economics, or a business-related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:$100,000.00 - $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
