The Project Manager position is responsible for managing small scale construction/merchandising projects and/or assisting the Sr. Project manager in planning, executing, and monitoring projects by coordinating tasks, tracking progress, managing budgets, and communicating updates to stakeholders, while gaining experience in all aspects of project management under close supervision the Senior Project Manager.The Project Manager is primarily responsible for supporting project activities, managing General Contractors 3rd party vendors, maintaining documentation, and ensuring projects stay on schedule and within scope. The Project Manager has full authority and responsibility for the surveying, budgeting, planning, bidding, contract award recommendations, and supervisory oversight of the execution of projects they are assigned.Project Managers have the authority to request and approve change orders, add or remove personnel during a project, and hold partners accountable for their deliverables. PM's have direct oversight and management responsibility of the capital budget in standalone projects up to $200K in Capital dollars. Project Managers are assigned projects based on knowledge, skillsets, and abilities.Required Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project)
  • Computer software skills - Working Knowledge of Microsoft software applications; word, excel, and Smartsheet's.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to schedule travel, meetings, workload, orders, etc.
  • Strong understanding of construction principles and processes
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized with strong analytical skills.
  • Thinks & acts strategically - Ability to make project & program level decisions related to budgets, processes & procedures without supervision. Able to work independently as a Project Manager.
  • Build & motivate high performing teams - Ability to manage a diverse workforce including CVS Health employees, merchandising vendor crews, general contractors and temporary labor.
  • Partners across boundaries - Ability to impact & influence at all levels (VP level down to temp laborer). Demonstrates the ability to collaborate with multiple departments including Procurement, Logistics, Inventory, Store Operations, Pharmacy Operations, Layout, Planogram, Group File, Legal, and others.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field (Preferred)
  • Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP) preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a construction project management, or related role.
Education
  • Required: Bachelor Degree in Architecture / Engineering / Construction Management / or Equivalent Work Experience.

The typical pay range for this role is:$66,330.00 - $159,120.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
