We are looking for a talented Operations Manager to join our team based in Hume, Canberra. The role provides a great opportunity to continue to grow the business and lead the service and parts teams. This is a hands-on management role and you will be responsible for managing a modern and strategic branch in Hume that predominately supports our On-Highway customers.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
  • Lead, motivate, develop, and engage a complete team of technicians and office staff.
  • Champion Cummins leadership behaviors, mission, vision, and values.
  • Ensure all health, safety & environmental policies, procedures, and legislation are followed, and create an interdependent safety culture.
  • Build strong customer and OEM partner relationships.
  • Develop and implement business growth plans to improve the customer experience.
  • Manage sales, profitability, expenses, WIP and service KPIs in line with regional AOP.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
  • Proven experience as a leader, with a strong focus on HSE, RWE and talent management from a similar industry, with a good understanding of the transport industryis highly desirable.
  • Have highly developed communication and influencing skills.
  • Be able to build strong, value creating customer relationships.
  • Have the ability to balance the needs of employees, customers, shareholders and communities.
