DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Engine Field Service Technician - Level III to join our team specializing in Service for our CUK Projects Department in Leeds, United Kingdom.
This role requires a 50% of domestic travel frequency and a 25% of international travel frequency.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Ensure Reliable Project Startups: By developing and executing test plans and commissioning scripts, you'll guarantee that power generation systems are launched smoothly and meet performance expectations from day one.
- Drive Technical Excellence: Your expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex engine issues on-site will minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance for customers.
- Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA): When issues arise, your troubleshooting skills and RCA support will help identify and eliminate underlying problems, improving long-term reliability and customer satisfaction.
- Enhance Stakeholder Collaboration: By supporting various stakeholders and aligning with Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), you'll ensure seamless coordination and project success across teams.
- Build Strong Customer Relationships: Acting as the primary technical contact, you'll foster trust and loyalty by providing prompt, knowledgeable, and effective support to customers.
- Mentor and Develop Talent: Through coaching technicians and apprentices, you'll share your knowledge and elevate the technical capabilities of the entire team.
- Promote Safety and Compliance: Your commitment to Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards will help maintain a safe work environment and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Identify Growth Opportunities: By recognizing additional service and sales opportunities during site visits, you'll contribute to business growth and customer value.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Strong Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of engine systems, power generation equipment, and commissioning processes, including the ability to develop test plans and troubleshoot complex issues on-site.
- Problem-Solving and RCA Skills: Ability to quickly diagnose faults, support root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Collaboration and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams, especially when coordinating around Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
- Commitment to Safety and Standards: A proactive approach to Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) compliance, along with attention to detail in documentation and adherence to company procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/ Experience:
- Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
- Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
- Locally valid driving permit
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Significant field service work experience
- Expert level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
- Customer service experience
- Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred)
