We are hiring an Operations Manager to oversee Supply Chain, Inventory, and Export Management for the Asia South region. Based in Singapore, this role ensures timely and compliant delivery of products, supporting business needs and commercial KPIs. The role manages end-to-end order processing, inventory planning, and export operations, focusing on seamless product support and delivery across Asia South markets. Key responsibilities include driving operational excellence, solving issues proactively, and enhancing customer service.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration, support continuous improvement, and manage complex operations effectively. Industry experience in healthcare or pharmaceuticals is preferred.

Your Role:

1. Sales Order Processing

Manage the end-to-end sales order process, including export order creation, validation, and exception handling. Ensure accurate billing, pricing integration, and timely communication with customers. Oversee product recalls and returns, and monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement.

2. Inventory Planning

Support inventory strategy by defining stock segmentation, calculating safety and cycle stock levels, and managing contractual stock obligations. Analyze deviations and implement corrective actions in alignment with demand and supply planning.

3. Export Management

Handle export operations from order intake to fulfillment, ensuring compliance with documentation and trade regulations. Collaborate with Global Trade Compliance and manage letters of credit and related invoicing.

4. Business Operations

Oversee commercial activities in Brunei, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and other assigned markets. Responsibilities include sales forecasting, business development, distributor contract management, and administration of the Singapore office.

5. Leadership & Talent Management

Lead the Customer Service and Operations team by setting performance goals, managing budgets, and supporting recruitment and talent development. Drive operational excellence and contribute to strategic planning across Asia South.

Your experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant industry.
  • Five years or above working experience in a client-facing customer role, preferably in South East Asia and/or South Asia partners in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven ability to lead, influence, and collaborate in cross-functional, fast-paced environments.
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects, prioritising tasks, and driving results with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present, negotiate, and facilitate effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with SAP is a plus.
  • A customer-first mindset with a passion for exceeding expectations.
