The Opportunity

This is a career opportunity. We are looking for a professional responsible for implementing Material Master (MM) operational activities and maintaining Data Quality standards throughout the full lifecycle of MM Data for the Supply Chain and Manufacturing business. As the Global Functional Owner for the MM Data domain, you will collaborate with Lifecycle Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance, and I&T partners to manage demand and deliver continuous improvement programs. You will follow MM Data Standards, meeting operational Goals, and providing domain knowledge support to partners.

The Role

This role partners with influencers across the enterprise to sustain Global processes for managing a MM Data base on industry best practices. You will maintain Material Master and Production Master Data, including BoMs, Recipes, PV, Routing, and Resources.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Follow standard business processes, Process Maps, Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions.
  • Support governance forums and ensure compliance with policies/processes across the Enterprise.
  • Perform Data Quality audits, cleansing, and enrichment.
  • Improve adoption of MM Data standard processes globally by reducing process variabilities and promoting Quality First Time Right metrics.
  • Maintain important performance measurements.
  • Support enhancement of systems required to implement MM Data processes.
  • Promote literacy of operational dashboards to ensure compliance with established process Service level agreements.
  • Ensure validation testing is in place to promote changes across technology landscapes.
  • Conduct training sessions related to MM MD data standards and maintenance processes.
  • Inspect operational processes and recommend changes, additions, and modifications.
  • Provide support for internal/external audits and lead CAPA implementation.
  • Complete any other responsibilities assigned by senior management.

Your Skills & Experience

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Education in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering preferred.
Experience:
  • Experience in a manufacturing cGMP environment (preferred, but not mandatory).
  • 2-5 years of strong hands-on experience in SAP Master Data Management, and governance.
  • SAP, MDG, or ERP experience required.
  • Customer service, communications, and team member management.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and within a global data governance framework.
  • Data analytics skills and ability to develop Power BI dashboards (preferred).
  • Knowledge of SAP S4/Hana ERP, MDG, or similar required.
  • Experience working within a Global Team structure preferred.
  • Able to work unsupervised and achieve agreed timelines.
Travel Requirements:
  • Up to 10% travel, to support project-driven activities.
