About the Role:

At CrowdStrike, we are uplevelling our product design capabilities to bring our users the most innovative, effective, and human-centered products they need and deserve. We are seeking a self-motivated and ownership-minded Product Design Producer to be a force-multiplier in our Design Ops and Product Insights team, amplifying our efforts and impact. The Product Design Producer aims to bring cohesion and clarity to design processes across the organization. You should have the ability to empower others by guiding the success of your design colleagues in a cross-product team capacity. Strong mentorship and coaching skills are key to direct and guide proper techniques.

This is an exciting opportunity to help CrowdStrike, its customers, and designers across the organization reach their potential and provide useful, efficient, and inspiring experiences.

What You'll Do:
  • Collaborate with other Product Design Producers and Design Architects to create processes to empower designers
  • Define and establish standards and processes to enable designers to do their best work, encouraging collaboration, pairing, and workshopping
  • Help establish, reinforce, and maintain the integrity of design practices of the design organization across CrowdStrike
  • Align tools and processes with outcomes across the design organization
  • Own vendor management and design tool procurement, onboarding, contracts, and budgeting
  • Adhere to/evangelize governance and standards set by our IT, product security, legal, and privacy teams
  • Report on outcomes to the leadership team
  • Identify and remove barriers that impact design success or team wellbeing
  • Advocate for human-centered design across the organization
  • Facilitate and improve cross-product/functional collaboration and communication
  • Identify and create opportunities for design colleagues to improve their skills and capabilities. This could include - but is not limited to - conducting training sessions, establishing a regular cadence of learning and development activities, and encouraging/organizing participation in design-related education
  • Lead and empower design colleagues by providing mentorship, guidance, and support in areas such as:
    • Goal-setting, receiving constructive feedback, ownership, and accountability
    • Career advice to assist design colleagues in growing their design skills and capabilities
    • Contributing skills and abilities to further the design strategy of the organization
What You'll Need:
  • Strong leadership and self-management skills and ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Demonstrate sound judgment by observing, identifying, and solving problems
  • Strong critical thinking skills, resulting in scalable knowledge creation, evidence gathering, and sharing
  • Experience with vendor and tool management, policy, budgets, and evaluation
  • Strong communication skills focused on relationship-building and collaboration, both synchronously and asynchronously
  • Experience in project management and work prioritization in a fast-paced design environment
  • A strong understanding of design principles, processes, and their application throughout the product design lifecycle
  • Be user-centered design driven
  • Extensive experience working in organizations with varying levels of Product Design maturity, and exposure to different ways of approaching design and pitfalls/benefits associated with each approach
  • Extensive experience in converting product insights into actionable design solutions context of highly complex systems
  • Experience with data privacy laws and compliance frameworks
  • Achievement and goal oriented
  • High level of integrity. You have the determination and resolve to do the right thing for your colleagues and for the users of our products
  • Strong abilities in several areas of the design process. These might include: product analytics, requirements gathering/understanding the route cause of problems designers are solving for, workflow definition, interaction design, content strategy, high fidelity design.
  • Bonus points for experience with Amplitude, or other analytics software!
