About the Role:
CrowdStrike is seeking a visionary Head of Data to lead our data strategy and operations. In this role, you will oversee the design, implementation, and evolution of CrowdStrike's data ecosystem, ensuring our ability to derive actionable insights, drive innovation, and maintain a competitive edge in cybersecurity. You will collaborate across teams to manage large-scale data sets, build scalable infrastructure, and lead data-driven decision-making processes.
What You'll Do:
- Craft a comprehensive data strategy roadmap. Prioritize key data-related initiatives and engage stakeholders for validation. Keep abreast of industry trends to ensure the data strategy remains current and evaluate new technologies to consistently enhance the organization's data capabilities.
- Oversee the design and management of a scalable data infrastructure. Facilitate the seamless integration of new data sources into the existing architecture. Monitor and ensure the performance and reliability of all data storage and processing systems.
- Drive and uphold a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and ensure data platform solutions meet those needs.
- Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and tools to enhance the data platform capabilities.
- Monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize data platform efficiency.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Proven experience in leading data platform teams in a fast-paced and petabyte scale environment.
- Proven experience in creating services with high availability, data durability and performance.
- Experience building machine learning platforms, real time analytics and graph systems.
- Strong technical skills in data architecture, ETL processes, database management, and cloud technologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of building high-performing teams.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to equal pay for equal work in its compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $330,000 - $400,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location.
