Our Monaco R&D Center of Excellence is looking for a Senior Director Product & Open Innovation that will build ground-breaking new product concepts & future formula bringing bold disruptive ideas to life in order to fuel our Product Development pipeline for our Skin Sun and Body care brands. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Innovation & Technology, you will get to work across many different product types & categories, developing innovative chassis driving brand awareness and disrupt the beauty market.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As our Senior Director R&D Product & Open Innovation your main focus are :
- Lead Skin Sun & Body Care Product Innovation teams.
- Define the Future Innovation & Technology platforms uncovering next activations for our Brands cross-division and cross categories.
- Contribute to the success of the Skin, Sun & Body Care categories.
- Fuel the Innovation Platforms with winning innovative, sustainable and desirable new chassis, in light with consumer aspirations, brands equity, market evolution and with relevant business rationale.
- Establishes partnerships with Start-Ups, Academics and Non-Beauty Players, strengthening our Incubator & Open Innovation R&D activities, for all Coty Beauty Categories.
- Develop internal capabilities to characterize and clusterize future innovative chassis (rheologic and physical parameters measurements.

Essential skills and experience we are looking for :
- Proven skills in researching and identifying new formula chassis and new technologies to deliver winning disruptive propositions.
- Experience in leading formulation R&D teams within a highly matrix function
- Expertise in upscaling team capabilities via robust working, development and training plans.
- Ability to working closely with Product Development and Packaging teams to align internal and external messaging and ensuring consistency.
- Skills in physico-chemical characterization of emulsions & rheology.
- Capability for frequent international travels
- High communication skills being fluent in English (speaking & writing)
- High degree of commitment and strong motivation.
- Ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team, with diverse groups of people at various levels within the organization.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills to complete assignments accurately.
- Ability to meet deadlines while being flexible to changes in priorities and interruptions.
- High energy and high capacity to handle multiple priorities under time-pressure
Qualifications:
- PhD or Master degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy or similar with more than 15 years of experience in product research or product development.
