Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer,you will be designing and delivering solutions that scale to meet the needs ofsome of the largest and most innovative organizations in the world. You willwork with team members to understand and exceed the expectations of users,constantly pushing the technical envelope, and helping Cornerstone delivergreat results. Working in an agile software developmentframework as a Scrum Lead, focused on development sprints and regular releasecycles, you'll own the complete technical delivery of theapplication and mentor juniors.

Inthis role, you will...

• Work in a global team, delivering SaaS Software on private or public cloud.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance .NET applications and services to contribute to our cloud platform, across the entire technology stack, includingASP.NET, C#, .NET, CI/CD tooling, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the product team and the wider organization to plan, design, and scope new initiatives and features, and identify opportunities for enhancements.
• Own your code - and mentor team members in owning their code - all the way to production, including continuous deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Be responsible for the overall quality of the product, including test coverage, including unit, integration, and automated functional tests.
• Provide guidance to other engineers and quality assurance staff to ensure our requirements for quality, security, scalability, and usability are met.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and provide leadership and mentorship to other software engineers.
• Consideration for privacy and security obligations
• Participate in key architectural decisions and design considerations.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide detailed RCA

• Bachelor'sdegree incomputer science or equivalent experience
• 4-6+years of web-based application development experience using ASP.NET, C#, .NET.
• Proficientexperience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server/MySQL
• Stronganalytical & problem-solving skills, a keen sense of ownership, and adetail-oriented mindset
• Effectivecommunication & persuasion skills
• Abilityto effectively manage and correctly prioritize multiple streams of work.
• Abilityto clearly communicate technical issues and project details.
• Experiencedelivering software ina Lean or Agile environment.
• Goodteam player with the ability to handle multiple concurrent priorities in afast-paced environment.
• Passionfor continuous process and technology improvement

• Conversantin algorithms, software designpatterns, and their best usage.

• Up-to-dateexperience with Elasticsearch and OpenSearch
• Hands-onexperience with AWS and Docker
• Experience in JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React.JS
• Experiencewith continuous deployment
• Experiencein a startup environment or on a global software team
• Experiencedeveloping Microservices, RESTful services, or other SOA developmentexperience.
