Summary:
The Senior Secretary is responsible for the clinic front desk operations including scheduling, reception, registration, financial account preparation, financial counseling and other clerical tasks. The position provides administrative support to the clinicians. The position works with the Clinic Manager in facilitating clinic operations in addition to conducting facility inspections, HIPAA audits and safety standards. The position is responsible for working with the Practice Manager/Director to identify business issues and implement operational process improvements. The position requires in depth and broad knowledge of all clinic support tasks.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years' work experience in medical or behavioral health setting in reception, insurance, chart prep, medical records and financial counseling required.
- Minimum 2-year work experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Epic preferred.
- Experience multitasking preferred.
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:45am to 4:30pm
- Friday: 7:45am to 2:30pm
