Summary:
The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for delivering skilled, evidence-based care while executing essential administrative and supervisory functions to optimize department operations. Utilizing the nursing process to augment the medical plan of treatment, this leader ensures that patient care is individualized, team-oriented, and focused on exceptional customer relations. The Supervisor manages daily operational success through strategic planning, staffing, and the consistent enforcement of organizational policies, all while demonstrating sound clinical judgment and initiative. By maintaining clear communication with the collaborative team and prioritizing tasks under pressure, the Nursing Supervisor ensures a flexible and safe environment that maintains high standards of clinical excellence and professional accountability.
Education/Experience:
- 2 years of progressive nursing experience with supervisory accountability.
- 1 year experience in Rehab/Transitional Care preferred.
- Bachelor's in nursing.
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS (American Heart).
