Summary:
The Rehabilitation Tech responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, designated tasks related to the clinical operation of the Rehabilitation Services Department and assistance with patient-related activities, which are predetermined for each patient and assigned by a therapist. Some clerical and/or operational duties may also be assigned.
- Supports physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech language pathologists in treatment sessions.
- Assists with transfers, patient handling, and transport of patients for evaluation and treatment.
- Maintains equipment and environment of care including cleaning, organizing, ordering stock.
- Adapts well to change and is willing to be flexible to work in a fast-paced environment with critically ill patients.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual skills encouraged.
- BLS certification within first 30 days of employment.
Schedule:
- 2 Weekend days per month
- 1 Summer Holiday and 1 Winter Holiday
