Summary:
Cook Children's Health Care System (CCHCS) located in Ft. Worth, Texas has an opportunity for a Pediatric Physiatrist to join the Jane and John Justin Institute for Mind Health, and the well-resourced and rapidly growing Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
The Jane and John Justin Institute for Mind Health was created to provide a single point of care for children with disorders of the nervous system. The Institute's Vision is to uphold the Promise of Cook Children's by providing easily accessible, well-coordinated and comprehensive evaluation and treatment - guided by innovation, research, and a relentless dedication to improving patient outcomes and quality of life. The Institute opened in October 2023 with >100,000 sq feet of clinical space and will house the Departments of Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neuropsychology, Psychology, Psychiatry, Developmental Pediatrics, Developmental Psychology, Pain Medicine, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Key Opportunity Highlights:
- Seeking candidates, including fellows, with interest in joining a thriving Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation practice that is supported through collaboration with 21 Child Neurologists, 4 Neurosurgeons, 4 Neuropsychologists, Psychiatrists, Pain Medicine specialists, Physiatrist, and Psychologists.
- Enjoy strong interdisciplinary collaboration and support from related specialties within the Institute combined with innovative clinic space that will facilitate the group's collaborative care as part of the Justin Institute at Cook Children's.
- 26-bed state-of-the-art Neuro-Rehabilitation unit located next to outpatient clinic, fully integrated motion analysis laboratory, comprehensive orthotics/prosthetics program with 3-D printing and an evolving robotics program.
- Clinical research and teaching, while not required, is encouraged in your areas of interest. The Neuroscience Research Center at Cook Children's provides ample research support from dedicated neuroscientists and support staff.
