Summary:
The Food Services Supervisor oversees daily operations of assigned food service areas within the hospital, including patient meal service, retail, catering operations, production, sanitation, and point-of-sale systems. This position ensures that all services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and customer service expectations. The supervisor provides leadership and training to staff, manages operational workflows, and collaborates with fellow supervisors and departmental leadership to achieve strategic goals in quality, safety, and financial performance.
Experience:
- 2 years supervisory experience in healthcare, institutional, or restaurant food service.
Education:
- Associate Degree in Nutrition, Food Service or related field OR certification as listed below.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification
- Certified Food Service Manager OR education as listed above
- City of Fort Worth Food Handler's Card
