Summary:

The Medical Assistant I role functions under the clinical supervision of the Physician/Advanced Practice Provider in a primary care practice. This individual assists in the preparation and delivery of patient care as directed by the provider(s) and other licensed clinical personnel. Clinical duties are skillfully and consistently performed per established clinical policy and procedure.

Hours: Mon, Wed, Thur & Fri 9am - 6:30pm

Weekends: (4-5 wkend shifts per year) Sat/Sun 7:45am - 12pm

Required Education, Experience & Certification:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited MA school (or) hold a current MA certification.
• Experience working in family practice, urgent care, or pediatric clinic preferred but not required.
• Vaccination knowledge preferred.
• CPR Certification required
• National MA Certification preferred.
