Summary:
The Volunteer Services Manager is responsible for managing the integration of volunteers into the health care team by implementing processes for volunteer recruitment, screening, interviewing, training/orientation, placement, retention, discipline, evaluation, and termination, as well as the supervision of Volunteer Services staff. As a Family Support Services staff member, the Volunteer Services Manager will demonstrate a commitment to Cook Children's Health Care System Operating Values, as follows, integrating them into each job function. Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in non-profit volunteer administration required.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Proficiency with Volgistics software preferred.
- Certification preferred (CVA or CAVS).
Hours:
- Monday to Friday:
- 8:00am to 4:30pm or 8:30am to 5:00pm
