Summary:
The Guest Relations Specialist is responsible for providing a welcoming presence and excellent service to patients, families, visitors, and staff through the information we impart, and the personal attention we give each guest. As a Family Support Services staff member, the Guest Relations Specialist will demonstrate a commitment to Cook Children's Health Care System Operating Values, as follows, integrating them into each job function. Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years' experience professional work experience required; health care setting preferred
- Computer proficiency required
- Collaborative work ethic, independent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, positive and professional demeanor with high integrity and ethics are all qualities necessary to be successful in this position
- Available to meet the needs of the department by working additional shifts, including evenings, holidays, and weekend shifts
- Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish preferred
