Summary:

The role of the Construction Budget Coordinator will provide financial management for the Construction organization. Responsible for tracking, G/L budgeting, variance analysis and control on all construction and operational budgets. Work closely with Director of Construction to create and manage construction and operational budgets. Review, reconcile and report out on all budgets. Identify variances and resolve issues with project managers and outside contractors/vendors on construction project budgets. The role of Construction Budget Coordinator will also be the process owner for the internal financial management process and administrator for the project management information system. This role is the point of contact to receive and disseminate pertinent information regarding the current status on all ongoing projects to requestors, end users, and contractors. This position processes and maintains archives of all the projects contractual and financial documentation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in the field of Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Construction Management or related area.
  • 3 years of progressive experience in budgeting, financial planning, analysis and construction budget management.
  • Experience in complex budgeting and forecasting for construction related services.
  • General knowledge of cost accounting, activity based accounting methods, Enterprise Resource Planning systems, and construction.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project.
