Summary:
The Director of Supply Chain Strategic Sourcing and Procurement is responsible for leading enterprise-wide procurement, sourcing, contract compliance, supplier negotiations, and value optimization strategies. This role provides strategic leadership for purchasing operations, supply chain clinical alignment, value analysis, cost containment initiatives, and supply disruption mitigation programs. The Director is accountable for developing and executing procurement strategies that optimize total cost of ownership, improve service levels, strengthen supplier performance, reduce supply chain risk, and support clinically appropriate standardization across the health system.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of progressive healthcare supply chain leadership experience including 5 years of leadership experience managing sourcing, procurement, purchasing, or contracting functions within a hospital or integrated health system.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives, complex supplier negotiations, value analysis, clinical integration, and healthcare operational collaboration.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Nursing, or related field required.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm (Will also need to be available outside of normal hours when needed)
