Summary:

The Building Technician II performs schedule/ unscheduled and preventive maintenance and repairs to include plumbing and pipe systems, electrical, mechanical, building automation and controls. Document work daily and assist other department staff in various duties.

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED with three plus (3+) years' experience.
  • Technical or College considered in place of Years of Experience.
  • General Commercial/Industrial Maintenance, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC & Computer knowledge required.
  • Troubleshooting skills in Electrical, HVAC and knowledge of Building Automation Systems a plus.

Certification/Licensure:

  • Type I or II EPA certifications is preferred.
