Summary:
The Administrative Resident program is intended to provide graduate students with a year-long work experience in order to fulfill requirements for a master's degree. This experience is intended to enhance their conceptual knowledge base and skills related to health care administration through direct observation, job shadowing, and project participation.
The Administrative Resident will function as a member of the CCMC executive leadership team and will report directly to the Vice President, CCMC, who will function in the role of Preceptor for the Administrative Resident. The Administrative Resident will participate in department-level rotations which are planned and organized by the respective department director. Project assignments for the Administrative Resident will be coordinated by the person requesting project support with the Preceptor or the Preceptors designee.
Qualifications:
- Completion of bachelor's degree and all classroom coursework toward an applicable master's degree.
- Work experience in a health care setting preferred.
