Position Summary
The Napa Bottling Center (NBC) Site Lead is responsible for providing strategic leadership and expertise to ensure the production of finished goods aligns with company objectives in terms of culture, safety, quality, cost, volume, and timing. This role involves leading a team responsible for all packaging at NBC. The Site Lead is accountable for maintaining productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness across all sites while collaborating to develop standard work methods and best practices across the network.

Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership and Management
- Provide strategic direction and leadership at NBC, including 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year outlooks designed to deliver set KPI milestones over time.
- Ensure alignment with company-wide objectives and goals.
- Foster a collaborative environment with other departments and business partners.
2. Production Oversight
- Oversee the scheduling and manufacturing of all finished goods.
- Ensure production meets quality, volume, and timing objectives.
- Collaborate with peers to implement and maintain standard work methods and practices.
3. Safety and Compliance
- Promote and enforce safe work habits and behaviors.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
4. Wine Quality Management
- Leverage knowledge of cellars and winemaking processes to improve current methods.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality wine products to consumers.
- Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the production process.
5. Efficiency and Productivity
- Monitor and improve productivity and efficiency by developing and implementing strategies to optimize production processes.
- Standardize, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure a robust reliability-centered maintenance plan is in place to support packaging assets.
6. Cost Management
- Manage budgets and expenses to meet company goals.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Ensure cost accountability within each site and across the department.
7. Collaboration and Communication
- Strive to live the CBI Leadership Standard and create an inclusive culture of high-performing teams.
- Work closely with other sites and functions to achieve common goals.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders across all sites.
- Address and resolve any inter-departmental or inter-site issues.
8. 3rd Party Production Oversight
- Oversee 3rd party production, ensuring alignment with company standards and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Co-pack partners.
- Ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are met by Co-pack partners.
9. Mobile Bottling Production
- Lead mobile bottling production, overseeing the new company-owned mobile bottling asset.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and with multiple customers to ensure schedules are achieved.
- Ensure the mobile bottling unit meets quality, volume, and timing objectives.
- Develop and maintain standard work methods and practices for mobile bottling operations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Food Packaging, or a related field (equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered).
- 10 to 15 years of leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a manufacturing or packaging environment.
- Strong understanding of production processes and quality control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience and demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control costs.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to handle special projects.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Solid understanding of maintenance fundamentals.
- Clear understanding of Health and Safety principles as applied to manufacturing.
- Experience in driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
- Works outdoors/indoors.
- Works in warm/cold climates.
- Works in high places.
- Works on wet surfaces.
- Is exposed to loud noise, fumes, and/or toxic chemicals.
- Works near moving mechanical parts and lift truck traffic.
- Must be able to move up to 55 lbs.
- Primary office environment may be a warehouse/distribution setting.

The salary range for this role is:
$134,900.00 - $215,600.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. At Constellation Brands, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
