Position Summary

The Manager, Advanced Planning Supply is accountable for working cross functionally with operations partners from Advanced Planning Demand, Logistics, Procurement, Brewery Operations, and others to build and maintain long-term integrated supply chain supply plans (i.e. Billings, Inventory, Shipment, Production) thru the use of complex data and insights, that will feed both organizational strategic long term planning and set the baseline for S&OP tactical planning.

This manager will be responsible for translating critical long term planning objectives into executable tasks with a team of three Advanced Planning Supply Planners. The Manager, Advanced Planning Supply's leadership will be crucial in translating business value and user feedback into actionable developments and will be held accountable for specific business KPIs, ensuring the team's efforts align with the organization's overall objectives. This role requires a professional with a strong leadership background, the ability to inspire a team, and a track record of delivering results.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain our long-term strategic supply plans (i.e. Billings, Inventory, Shipment, Production) across the entire portfolio using key business inputs from cross functional partners to create a comprehensive integrated output that feeds our financial, operational and tactical planning processes. Specific examples include, but not limited to:

    • Lead the team to create an integrated supply chain inventory strategy using segmentation and multi-echelon inventory optimization methodologies in combination with known business factors to deliver optimal service levels and cost savings opportunities.
    • In collaboration with the Advanced Planning Demand Manager, define and evolve collaborative capacity planning with external distributor partners.
    • Refine and own the annual at-risk inventory budgeting process, setting long term strategy thru scenario planning, to help ensure a proactive approach that results in low financial obsolescence impacts.
    • Collaborate with network design and logistics to build out our network capacity in line with requirements for volume and geography, in a service focus, cost-effective manner, considering our overall end-to-end inventory strategy and risk mitigation options.
    • Facilitate cross functional partnership with Procurement to help define new ways of working and to help enhance our processes for materials inventory target creation, long term planning/purchasing decision making, and our materials risk approach.
  • Build a methodology to document strategic assumptions used at the time of critical decision making, utilizing to keep organization aligned and evolving across advanced planning process.
  • Build out ways of working for supply planning processes including the long-term capacity planning process, brewing and line capacity mapping, scenario making, capital decisioning and new products route to market planning.
  • Contribute with determining process handoffs and touchpoint with the Advanced Planning new ways of working, including the transition of new products responsibilities to S&OP.

    • Talent Management: Build a diverse, highly agile team focused on successful outcomes and continuously identify areas of opportunity to improve, streamline or challenge the status quo.
    • Support the creation and delivery of critical planning based KPIs and cost targets for end-to-end planning (e.g., inefficiency budgeting / projections and obsolescence budgeting.)
    • Culture: Establish a culture of continuous improvement in the space of digital analytics, acting as the center of excellence for developing key insights and analytics thru data curation across multiple platforms and visualizations digestible for critical planning and fulfillment activities.
    • Support ad hoc supply chain and cost savings initiatives as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with 6-8+ years in Supply Chain required, with experience across Logistics, Manufacturing and/or Procurement. 3-5+ years of team management experience.
  • Proven knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the CPG/Beverage Alcohol industry
  • Strong collaborator with cross-functional teams from Supply Chain, finance, and digital
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of standard precision practices, technology and supporting industry principles.
  • 3-5+ years of Integrated Business Planning required.
  • High level of business acumen is required, including the knowledge and ability to have an E2E holistic perspective.
  • Expert within conflict management. Understands organizational "hot spots" and focuses diverse groups on common organizational outcomes. Fosters productive dialogue and manages high-tension situations with diplomacy and tact to maintain credibility and influence.
  • Deep understanding of technology enablement and current technology tools (i.e. o9, Blue Yonder, SAP)
  • Experience thinking both creatively and analytically.
  • Clear, concise & persuasive written & oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, planning skills, and ability to prioritize work effectively for a team of strong skilled individuals.
  • Demonstrated results with process discipline and process adherence, and able to identify and take opportunities to develop, further and strengthen a process.
  • Problem Solving skills- identifying solutions quickly and on the spot; help employees work thru issues they might have with performing their duties efficiently and effectively.

The salary range for this role is:
$108,600.00 - $169,900.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
