Position Summary

The Distributor Development Analyst role will provide the Sales Enablement Team (SET) with insight and direction based on analytical support of:

  • CBBD sales enablement platform (e.g., Galaxy)
  • Gold Network Awards (GNA)
  • Distributor B2B eCommerce metrics
  • Annual Business Plans (ABP)
  • Distributor partnership transitions
  • Other distributor development initiatives (e.g., IRI, distributor milestones)

This position supports Gold Network Awards, ABPs, B2B ecommerce, distributor transitions and distributor contracts while also acting as a flex position for keeping the team on schedule during time-sensitive activities. Additionally, this role provides direct support for key distributor partners, such as Reyes, through incentive tracking and custom GNA scorecards.

The position leads the maintenance and updates of sales enablement platform (Galaxy) user data/trend analysis, GNA rankers, GNA award program support, distributor B2B eCommerce platform scorecards & analysis, ABP dashboards, strategic distributor partnership scorecards, and opportunistic analysis in support of other distributor development initiatives. This is a "hands-on" position, which in addition to core analysis duties, provides analytical support as needed. The Distributor Development Analyst works in collaboration with other Sales Enablement Team members, the Sales Team, and cross-functional partners to identify and help resolve technical issues that disrupt the proper execution of Distributor Development tools, platforms, distributor transition data transferals, scorecards, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Working with SET Distributor Collaboration Manager, facilitate resolution of user Sales Enablement platform (Galaxy) issues, including finding resolution with IT and platform vendors. Works cross-functionally to ensure Galaxy sales platform content is current.
  • During Annual Business Planning for distributors, this role supports BU's with the timely uploading, updating, and goal entry tracking, while also serving as a secondary resource for troubleshooting access across hundreds of internal and external Anaplan users.
  • This role is crucial to the production of monthly Gold Network Award scorecards and the yearly process of calculating the final winners for the Gold Network Summit. Role is responsible for matching Market Investment expenses to award winning distributors and reporting to sales and SET leaders on under & overspending.

  • Monthly, this role functions in a reporting capacity covering GNAs, Reyes acquisition territory contract performance updates, eCommerce, and incentives in support of sales growth
  • Leads Distributor Milestone awards and GNA awards including working with brand teams and trophy designers to managing trophy ordering, tracking, and coordinating with Finance on billings and bill-backs
  • When new brands launch, this role partners to amend all 400+ distributor contracts, send DocuSign/Adobe emails and track responses
  • Use MS Office, internal (e.g., Compass, IQ, BI) systems, and web-based (e.g., CGA/Nielsen, IRI) applications to build and support scorecards and analysis of key tools and processes, including no less than quarterly strategic distributor transition performance tracking and analysis.
  • Initiate, develop, and follow-through on self-identified opportunities which build positive Field-distributor collaboration, e.g., trade channel performance analysis; based on opportunity, work collaboratively and cross-functionally within and external to SET to improve existing tools.
  • Completes all additional analytical responsibilities and special assignments, updates, trackers and presentations as needed and directed by the Director, Distributor Development and the Vice President, Sales Enablement Team.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.

Reporting Relationship

Reports to the Manager, Distributor Development & Planning.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience is required; relevant sales, category management, or marketing experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in beverage or CPG sales analysis, marketing/media analysis, or marketing research role.
  • Detailed-oriented, critical thinking, with good verbal and written communication, along with positive interpersonal skills are necessary, with the ability to actively listen, express and support positions, and work as a part of a team being essential.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, identify opportunities and issues.
  • Intellectually curious, confident, proactive, creative, comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment with a "team first," positive attitude.
  • Strong project management and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects, and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Must be entrepreneurial, take initiative and work with a high level of professionalism.
  • Must have a high degree of proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel, Power Pivot skills. Must have experience with Power BI, CBI IQ, or other relevant databases.
  • Preferred experience using IRI Circana or other syndicated data.
  • Modeling and budget experience required as "ad hoc" analysis can entail looking at multiple scenarios.
  • Ability to lift 25lbs.
  • Some domestic travel required (5 - 20%).
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

The salary range for this role is:
$80,400.00 - $120,600.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor.
