A role you will love
The Portfolio Services Manager III is responsible for the overall management and administration of large and complex deals/portfolios which could span multiple clients and products. Deal structures typically include esoteric concepts and active portfolio management with high volumes. The role holder monitors the accurate and timely operation of all deal related activities ensuring client standards and contractual requirements are met. Deal activities include daily cash/position/asset reconciliations, waterfall/borrowing base/compliance test calculations, asset sales/purchases, fundings, payment processing, intraday trading, investor reporting, and ad-hoc client requests.
Some of the key responsibilities for this position may include:
- Administer and manage assigned deals, including actively managed portfolios Manage deals for large and complex clients with high portfolio activity or trade volumes and monitor the accurate and timely operation of accounts in accordance with client and contractual agreements.
- Conduct thorough and timely reviews of the work carried out by others and provide constructive feedback and guidance to help improve team performance.
- Work closely with legal counsel and internal teams on new business and amendments, reviewing legal contracts and negotiating terms to ensure operational effectiveness and mitigating potential risks.
- Lead the closing and set-up of new deals and amendments for existing accounts in accordance with governing documents and departmental procedures.
- Act as primary point of contact for client communication and apply product knowledge and ability to interpret complex legal documents to independently investigate and respond to client inquiries and requests.
- Serve as an escalation point for client related operational and administrative issues.
What will you bring to the role?
- 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: Corporate Trust, Financial Services, Account Management, Structured Finance. A four-year degree or military experience may offset one year of required experience.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Corporate Trust Experience
- Relationship/Account Management
- Ability to work independently, make decisions, and instruct others
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- High proficiency in reading and interpreting complex legal documents
- Strong math aptitude
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications
- Effective organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
- Solid PC skills including proficiency with MS Excel
- Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools
- Ability to work in high pressure and time sensitive environment
- Customer service focus with experience actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues/needs and recommending solutions
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience completing tasks in a timely and efficient manner with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is $100,000- $130,000. This base pay is a national average and may not be applicable to all locations
