This is a hybrid position primarily based in Barcelona. A role you will love:

  • Work on all award and vesting activities within the employee share plan lifecycle, from enrolment to maturity.
  • Manage awards, adjustments, and conditional rights for shares.
  • Oversee vesting and maturity processes including performance, tax implications, and leaver processing.
  • Partner with the Head of Awards and Vesting to streamline and optimize processes specifically for CIS clients transitioning to EquatePlus.
  • You'll be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring tasks to ensure timely completion and meet agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Own the processing of scheduled events, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations when allocating assets and managing share sales.
  • Be the point person for award processing, execution, and allocation activity.
  • Handle performance adjustments and ensure award and vesting communications are sent on time.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for operational control and governance.
  • Become a subject matter expert, providing advice and exceptional customer service on all aspects of your assigned activities.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Ideally, a minimum of two years' experience in financial services, with a year in share plans or financial compensation preferred.
  • Proven ability to handle high transaction volume in a complex regulatory environment.
  • Bonus points for experience with process improvement projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to connect with diverse audiences.
  • Passion for exceeding client expectations and maintaining a strong track record of exceptional delivery.
  • Experience with Employee Share Plans is a plus, but not essential.
  • Top-notch organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
