A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Dividend Administrator to join our Dividend Department on a full-time permanent contract, based in the Bristol Office.

You will be working with a welcoming and supportive team in this varied and fast-paced role, where you will be encouraged to develop and take on new, exciting challenges.

A role you will love

As a Dividend Administrator you will be responsible for the processing and payment of dividend events for your own portfolio of clients, as assigned by the Dividend Management Team.

You will become a specialist at a variety of tasks that are instrumental to the continued success of the department. Such as, the setting and agreeing of event timetables, event preparation, calculation of the dividend, balancing and identification of funding, payment of the dividend onto shareholders and more!

What will you bring to the role?

We are looking for a candidate with great communication skills, alongside the ability to build collaborative and effective working relationships with people based in locations across the world.

Strong literacy and numerical skills will allow you to successfully communicate across all levels of the business, both written and verbal, and enable you to work through problems both of a technical and non-technical nature. Experience using Microsoft Excel is desirable.

You will be practised in working as part of a team, aligned with being self-motivated, enjoy using your own initiative, and you will work with consistency, integrity, accountability, and professionalism always.

Key skills include:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • PC literate - an intermediate level of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Good organisational, planning and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

What will your main accountabilities be?

  • Communication - liaison with internal and external stakeholders, who include client company representatives, Custodians, Client Managers and other areas of Computershare on a global basis.
  • "Doing" - Responsible for all aspects of multiple events involving internal co-ordination and co-operation with other business areas.
  • Project Control - Ownership and responsibility for individual events under your control.
