Their vision is to be the leader in the provision of outsourced services and solutions in the utility market segments where they specialise - Water, Commercial & Industrial and Mass Market (Retail).

A role you will love.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Credit and Collections Officer to join the Computershare Utility Services (CUS) - Unitywater Revenue Operations Team based in Maroochydore.

As part of the close-knit team, you will be responsible for many of the key credit and collection activities for Unitywater accounts and customers, including maintaining and updating account data, assisting customers with appropriate payment options and identifying hardship customers.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct credit and collection activities including inbound and outbound calling.
  • Negotiate and set up payment arrangements suitable to client needs.
  • Data entry of payment arrangements and issuing of appropriate correspondence.
  • Ensure all items are processed within appropriate client agreed SLA's.
  • Adherence to all policies and procedures of both Computershare and the client.
  • Minimum call volumes achieved as per KPI requirements along with handling times.
  • Process exceptions using sound analytical skills.
  • Actively participate in team discussions, meetings and other team forums, to impart knowledge and ideas that result in team decisions.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Strong customer service experience, preferably in a Credit and Collections role.
  • Outstanding listening, oral and written communication skills for gathering and providing information
  • Strong computer skills (accurate typing / keyboarding)
  • Fast learner to adapt to multiple systems and processes
  • A high level of initiative, tackling problems in a methodical and logical manner
  • Excellent Attention to detail
  • A passion for providing quality and efficient service
  • Previous experience in utility or related industry is preferred
