We are seeking a hands-on, creative, and energetic HR leader to join CommonBond’s People Team. In this role you will manage, drive, and influence the development and execution of Employee Experience and HR Operations.

YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Operations:

  • Oversee CommonBond’s HRIS platform, inclusive of onboarding & offboarding, payroll, tax, and benefit administration to ensure it appropriately supports the business and compliance aspects for the company.
  • Create and manage company-wide benefit offerings while staying on top of recent trends and ensuring CommonBond cost effectively meets employees needs to remain competitive with the industry’s top companies.
  • Define a competitive, transparent, and scalable compensation strategy as our business and talent evolves, utilizing best practices around market research and data.

Employee Experience:

  • Onboarding
    • Continually improve our HR orientation and onboarding initiatives to ensure that new employees have the tools and information to be successful from day one.
  • Performance Management
    • Lead the bi-annual performance review and promotion process.
    • Implement programs and tools to (1) assist managers to supervise and motivate their direct reports and (2) help employees grow their skill sets, and (3) continuously improve the overall Company’s performance.
  • Engagement
    • Develop programs to deepen employee engagement across the company, teamwork & trust, while working in a remote-first environment.
    • Develop an inclusive environment where all employees can succeed.

Policies and Procedures

  • Develop, implement, and consistently administer employee policies that comply with applicable laws where CommonBond has offices or operations.
  • Manage the employee handbook and ensure that companywide practices align with company culture.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • 7+ years’ experience in a People function.
  • Extensive knowledge of compensation, benefits, HR operations and performance management.
  • Inspires a culture of innovation, execution, collaboration, accountability, positivity and fun.
  • Highest ethical standards, integrity, authenticity, credibility and character.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to exercise good judgment.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment, with high ambiguity and competing priorities.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to explain complex ideas in a simple, clear manner, to a wide variety of audiences (from individual contributors to our Board members).

You can work in our New York City HQ; or remotely from anywhere within commuting distance of NYC. As a heads up, due to the on-going pandemic of COVID-19, if you choose to work from our NYC HQ, it is likely that you’ll start working remotely.
