Role Summary:

The International Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in managing Cinemark's global import and export operations, ensuring timely, efficient, and compliant movement of goods. This position collaborates closely with the Trade Compliance team and external logistics partners to uphold regulatory standards and optimize international freight processes. The ideal candidate will also drive continuous improvement by analyzing logistics workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending actionable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily import and export transactions in accordance with Cinemark's policies and international trade regulations.
  • Prepare and review shipping documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate cargo readiness, pickup, and delivery with freight forwarders, trucking companies, steamship lines, and customs brokers.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve shipping issues and clarify requirements.
  • Obtain and evaluate freight quotes and containerization options to support cost-effective logistics planning.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Support the development and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure logistics performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Trade Compliance personnel to minimize delays and ensure adherence to import/export regulations.
  • Conduct root cause analyses of logistics issues and recommend process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation retention in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in international logistics, trade compliance, or a related discipline.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheet; experience with Workday and OneSource Import/Export Module is a plus.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written); Portuguese proficiency is a plus.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to interact across all organizational levels.
