Overview

The Restaurant Cash Management Team facilitates and provides accounting support for end-to-end Restaurant payment processes and cash management insights. This is a professional level role responsible for leading and managing initiatives that support the Restaurant Cash Management team's core functions, including systems, integrations, and related processes. Individual will oversee the product management lifecycle of one or more systems leveraged by the Restaurant Cash Management team that enable cash management, payment, and reconciliation support for Chick-fil-A Operators and their teams. This role serves as a subject matter expert for assigned systems, ensuring they meet evolving business needs and operate efficiently within the broader financial ecosystem. Individual will provide 2nd mile service to Operators, team members, staff and 3rd party vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and user testing of systems and processes that capture and reconcile Restaurant payment transactions, driving scalability and efficiency through technical expertise.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on system integrations and technical requirements for Restaurant Cash Management, including emerging system needs.
  • Partner with Digital Transformation & Technology team and external partners on system integrations, upgrades, issue resolution, and enhancements.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional projects related to Restaurant Cash Management Systems and platforms, influencing key business decisions related to system functionality, process improvements, and third-party vendor selection.
  • Partners cross-functionally to establish and maintain system controls including the development of accounting policies as needed.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides, and best practices to ensure consistent knowledge sharing and support.
  • Propose and champion enhancements and change opportunities to current and future processes.

Utilize analytical platforms to proactively assess cash and credit risks, communicating and influencing decisions surrounding potential issues that may impact financial results.
