Chewy is seeking a highly motivated, goal oriented, expert Affiliate Marketing leader to accelerate the next round of channel growth at our exciting and fast paced company in Boston, MA. As Senior Affiliate Manager, your charter is to innovate, build, and act as the owner of our Pharmacy and Insurance offerings as well as supporting the core US program. Expanding within the affiliate marketplace across content, lead generation, partnerships, and traditional affiliate marketing. Within a growing team, you will build a project roadmap designed to grow the Chewy Health programs including campaign planning, publisher recruitment, and integration into our marketing portfolio.

Employing a data driven mindset for measurement and analysis, you will prioritize the most scalable opportunities and test, iterate, and build a portfolio of customer acquisition sources that are incremental to strategic growth initiatives across the Chewy Health business. You must learn quickly, run and analyze experiments, and make decisions prioritized by business impact. You will bring strong expertise in affiliate marketing, lead generation, and analytics and portfolio incrementality. You must demonstrate a performance-driven mindset, builder mentality, test & learn, and end to end ownership of innovative new campaigns. Your leadership will pave the way for your successful onboarding, and build the launchpad for your critical work to drive the Chewy affiliate programs growth.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead a complex, multifaceted set of partnerships, networks, and affiliate content development with the support of the Affiliate Marketing channel leader
  • Act as the point of contact for external network and publisher relationships, including facilitation of publisher/network invoicing and payment
  • Stay on top of emerging affiliate marketing industry trends to evaluate new management approaches, publisher models, or technologies that can help the business grow and keep us one step ahead of competitors
  • Plan and troubleshoot technology/analytics integrations with affiliate management platforms, direct integrations with new networks, and manage reporting integrations with internal partners
  • Obsessively monitor affiliate channel KPIs and proactively identify growth opportunities, limitations or anomalies warranting further investigation or escalation
  • Utilize processes and mechanisms designed for affiliate relationship management, including inquiries and applications, negotiations, tactical execution, and commission optimization
  • Collaborate with internal Digital Marketing teams on testing, reporting, and ad hoc analysis
  • Build and manage internal relationships across a group of diverse stakeholders that help the program scale more quickly
  • Build and present concise opportunity briefs, performance readouts, and relevant channel updates as needed

What you’ll need:

  • A proven track record delivering results in establishing and growing large affiliate marketing and lead generation programs, preferably in the insurance or health space
  • A minimum of 6+ years of experience in data-driven digital marketing, affiliate specialty preferred
  • Knowledge of analytics/reporting tools and methodologies (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.) audience management (Segment, mParticle, Liveramp, Nielsen, etc.) and the ability to analyze large datasets to gain insights and support business decisions
  • Experience with A/B or multivariate testing, and channel incrementality testing
  • Ability to effectively work together with marketers, product managers and engineers alike
  • Demonstrable organizational skills, drive for constant improvement, and critical thinking skills
  • Entrepreneurial and self-starting mentality and ability to thrive with ambiguity
  • Bachelor's degree or higher (background in Economics, Mathematics, Marketing, or a related discipline preferred but not required)

Bonus

  • Experience with Partnerize, Impact, or other SAS model networks
  • Experience with MMM and incrementality testing
  • Experience launching scalable micro influencer programs
  • Experience with SQL or other advanced data analysis
