The Program Manager, Procurement plays a critical role in driving tactical initiatives and steering the Procurement Team toward achieving its strategic goals! Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Procurement, this role involves cross-functional collaboration with leaders across the organization to plan and implement indirect procurement programs. This individual will provide weekly and monthly updates on progress toward business goals, support requests for Executive Administration, identify risks and opportunities, and contribute to the strategic direction and roadmap for the Indirect Procurement team.
A broad understanding of procurement, supply chain, logistics, continuous improvement, technology, safety, and operations is essential. Success in this role requires outstanding organizational skills, the ability to build structured processes, navigating ambiguity, effective change management, and a commitment to continuous improvement. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead critical initiatives within Indirect Procurement in a fast-paced and evolving environment while maintaining a structured and organized approach to all responsibilities!
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning & Tracking:
- Manage the Indirect Procurement team’s goal-setting, initiative planning, and tracking processes
- Develop and maintain structured workflows to ensure efficiency and transparency across all initiatives
- Coordinate the intake process for gathering new initiatives and business goals
- Maintain a portfolio of ongoing projects, ensuring accurate prioritization, sequencing, and timely delivery
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Provide project updates and communications to Senior Leaders and C-suite members.
- Develop business documents, formal communications, and presentations for initiatives and goals.
- Operational Support:
- Document meeting notes, actions, and follow-up items in an organized and trackable manner.
- Support initiatives that procurement team member engagement, cost-efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Technical, Business, or Management) preferred
- 2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or e-commerce
- 2+ years in program/project management roles
- Skills & Competencies:
- Highly organized and detailed, with the ability to structure workflows and processes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, effective across all organizational levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced project management expertise with a proven track record to deliver results and drive change
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros, Data Manipulation, and Formulas).
