Checkout.com is actively seeking an exceptional individual to join as a Senior Manager in our Treasury New Products function within Group Treasury. The New Products function provides dedicated in-depth support of new initiatives across Checkout.com globally, and creates a single default point of entry for the Product teams. It plays a key role in enabling successful delivery of new products and enhancements. The Senior Manager position will be the newest addition to the team, reporting to the Head of Treasury New Products and based in London.

This will be a hands-on role with a key focus on product design advisory. The successful candidate will engage various teams to identify and advise on product development opportunities holistically, embed Treasury in the product design and execution, and support the implementation of relevant framework and policies. As a Senior Manager, the role holder is expected to drive the necessary cross-functional collaborations, apply in-depth Treasury and product knowledge to help create pragmatic solutions and support the delivery for the sustained success and growth of Checkout.com products.

 

What you'll be doing:

  •  
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross functional teams to identify product development opportunities, and advise on the design and implementation from a Treasury perspective
  • Co-lead on the product design and execution for Treasury and FX product working closely with other Treasury functions and Product teams
  • Ensure Treasury's data, system integration, operational processes, regulatory compliance and risk management requirements and standards are embedded in the product development and optimisation
  • Be an integral part of the Treasury New Products team and act as the single point of entry for the Product teams
  • Coordinate with Treasury leaders, functional heads and SMEs across over various offices and represent their requirements in the day-to-day dealings with the Product and Commercial teams
  • Support the implementation of framework and policies relevant to New Product readiness and promote transparency as well as clarity

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

 

If you're a seasoned Treasury manager who is inquisitive about Payments Products, creative in structuring solutions and looking to step into a product and expansion focussed role, look no further! If you’ve not worked in Treasury before but are an expert Product Manager with Payments/FinTech/Start-up background with strong interest in Treasury related products and seek to deepen your Treasury knowledge by moving into Treasury, this is an opportunity not to be missed!

 

  • Solid understanding of Treasury functions in the Payments/Financial Services industry and/or Payments products, as well as standard methodologies
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proven track record dealing with multiple stakeholders and the ability to influence
  • Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to understand sophisticated payment flows
  • Outstanding communication skills to articulate complex problems, thoughts processes and decisions
  • It'd be desireable to have experience in New Product assessments or deal reviews and experience in Financial Resource Management, Treasury Business Partner or business advisory roles
