Your opportunity

The Asset Transfer Services (ATS) Department handles incoming and outgoing transfer requests for Schwab clients. ATS has set aggressive goals to lead the industry by creating the best transfer experience for our clients, internal business partners and contra/broker firms.

You will ensure "best in class" service to help our clients "own their tomorrow" by:

Performing a variety of functions and services for our Schwab Advisor Services and Investor Services client groups. As the Team Lead in Asset Transfer Services, the primary responsibilities are to assist the Team Manager in supervising, coaching, and developing a team of representatives. The Team Lead will be involved with workflow distribution and supporting daily operations of the team. Additionally, an integral part of this role includes understanding and acting as a subject matter expert. You will be asked to switch gears throughout the day from processing client account transfer requests, to assist with meeting critical cut-off times or high-volume processing spikes. The processing aspect encompasses a detailed review of assets to transfer and coordination with both clients and other financial institutions to ensure a clean receipt/delivery of funds. Flexibility is a key aspect of this role, and the ideal candidate will need to be comfortable with direct client interaction as they receive inbound client service calls and network internally to research and resolve client operational issues. This is a summary only and duties/responsibilities may be changed to meet the business and our clients needs.
