The Advisor Services division supports registered investment advisors (RIAs) with market-leading custody, trading, technology and practice management tools. The Digital Advisor Solutions (DAS) team within Advisor Services leads digital product development and B2B technology strategy for our Schwab Advisor Center platform, third-party developer API offerings, and internal rep platforms. Schwab is the leading provider of custody services in the RIA market and provides access to sophisticated wealth-management services that help RIAs attract and retain affluent clients, as well as profitably grow, compete, and succeed in their business efforts. Schwab serves approximately 15,000 RIA businesses. Our RIA clients manage over $4 trillion of assets in accounts at Schwab.

The Digital Advisor Solutions Group (DAS) within Schwab Advisor Services manages development of key software platforms for advisors and reps, including Schwab Advisor Center, Advisor Services Rep Desktop Tools, and the Third-Party API program. The Digital Offer Management & Product Ops team provides product planning support to the DAS organization as well as Advisor Services as a whole. This includes partnering with various product management teams, client experience teams, and the AS strategy group to develop new product or feature plans. In some cases, this group plays a leading role in providing a technology point of view, planning, and execution management for concepts that originate in the strategy team. In other cases, we may work more closely with a digital product management team in need of assistance with future feature planning and analysis.
This role will manage a portfolio of rotating projects and provide both analysis and planning as well as execution management on each of them. It's an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of the team.
What you'll do:
- Deeply understand the Schwab Advisor Center (SAC) platform and the collective roadmaps of the Digital Advisor Solutions organization, as well as advisor feedback and industry trends. Be able to channel this knowledge into recommendations how new initiatives may translate into changes across the SAC platform
- Develop product recommendations and client experiences in collaboration with business, product, and UX partners
- Perform analysis to inform business cases and feature prioritization
- Build relationships and work effectively across many different partner teams and contacts for various projects - from digital product managers working on SAC to client experience leads to AS strategy partners
- Manage high-level technology project execution across product management teams- from building combined team roadmaps to managing stakeholder input and senior leader update meetings
- Develop senior leader presentations to represent program updates and align on key design decisions. Gather inputs and coordinate the group's presentations.
- Perform competitive analysis and industry research
- Support team Director in providing ongoing organization metrics reporting, newsletter development, and senior leader progress updates
What you have
Required Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience in a digital strategy, digital product management, digital offer management, or a digital product development role
- Financial services experience
- Comfortable leading large teams and facilitating collaboration with various SMEs
- Strong ability to conceptualize new features and imagine new interaction models, drawing on other industry or digital examples
- Excellent PowerPoint and writing skills without the use of AI. Ability to create a range of slides from business case material and data stories to conceptual diagrams and client experience mockups
- Ability to build relationships and maintain a broad network to connect the dots on key initiatives throughout the organization and drive distributed work
- Great story-telling skills for framing presentations and editing executive-level summaries
- Top notch organization skills to keep track of multiple projects and deliverables, while coordinating supporting work and inputs across many other teams and individuals
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and pivoting work in light of new information
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the RIA industry
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
