You will be part of the Retail Acquisition and Corporate Marketing team which is responsible for bringing Charles Schwab's unique selling propositions to life in a variety of channels and mediums. This team focuses on driving new to firm acquisition and driving intelligent business decisions founded on rigorous data analysis.

Within the team the Paid Search Marketing Manager will use a combination of analytic prowess and creativity to support our Retail, Trader, Institutional business units. This person will report to the Director of Media and partner with our Search Agency of record to help execute paid search strategy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage campaigns and operations for the Paid Search program, including:
    • Managing budgeting, accounting, and program administrative tasks.
    • Ad copy creation and development.
    • Manage reporting and analytics including competitive monitoring, dashboard updates, and periodic business reviews.
    • Manage internal approval workflows with legal and compliance stakeholders.
    • Be responsible for website tagging.
  • Work with internal team to help develop overall search strategy by analyzing paid search trends, marketplace dynamics, and external partner data.
  • Program or project management: a strong sense of organization, able to identify potential project obstacles, and able to work with others to craft solutions.
  • Proficient in data gathering and analysis. Trending analysis, hypothesis development, and solutioning.
  • Adept at partnering with others to push projects forward - finding common ground, and able to negotiate solutions.
  • A great fit would be someone who has paid search experience but wants the experience of program management on the client side.
  • Success will be measured by the specific outcomes of the projects/initiatives under this role's purview.
  • A day in the life would include 10% administration work, 30% data analysis, 50% program/project management, and 10% innovation.

What you have

To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Economics, Marketing or another analytical focused program.
  • 3-5 years of working experience, with at least 2 years' experience in digital channels marketing, preferably in paid search, organic search or display advertising.
  • Strong analytical skills - ability to interpret trends from large data sets.
  • Experience with analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics or similar) and/or search management platforms (Google, Adobe, Marin, Kenshoo) a big plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Strong collaborator that can work with many partners to achieve an end goal

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
