Pay range: USD $90,000.00 - $200,100.00 / Year

Your opportunity

We are seeking a Senior User Experience Designer to help us create a simple to use modern wealth management rep platform that enables world-class efficiency and highly personalized experiences for our Sales, Service, and Advice representatives.

You will be responsible for one) to translating strategic insights into actionable experience concepts by defining the structure, flow, and content of the solution and two) visualizing design ideas through interactive prototypes that communicate the intended user experience to help align teams, gather feedback and guide development. You will strategically connect the dots across complex use-cases that touch multiple personas and applications, creating a consistent, intuitive, and performant rep desktop. To achieve this, you will facilitate alignment and decision-making across business stakeholders, product owners, and technology partners, requiring excellent relationship management and executive presence.

What you are good at:

Design Consulting

• Facilitate collaborative design sessions including sketching and ideation.

• Lead design reviews and drive decisions.

• Create design solutions with a multi-faceted team, considering how digital, physical, and service channels work together.

• Represent the design team brand and deliver a consistent design process to partners.

• Understand that great designs are achieved iteratively.

• Visualize ideas in a clear form (sketch, diagram, wireframe, or prototype) and provide appropriate level documentation.

Design Management

• Set expectations with the project team and prioritize activities.

• Create and maintain design schedules.

• Communicate status and agreements with project team.

• Review work with UX managers, keep them updated on project status and escalate items appropriately.

Design Expertise and Execution

• Maintain the high standards set by the group.

• Conduct the primary design activities, create deliverables, and conduct QA at an expert level.

• Participate and support research efforts.

• Commit to improving our process and methods with an emphasis on both effectiveness and efficiency.

Teamwork, Collaboration and Engagement

• Work well with all partners to deliver work.

• Support UX team members.

• Strategically listen to feedback and help guide the delivery

• Collaborative and cooperative.

What you have

What you have:

• More than 5 years of design experience on digital products and in a financial services environment with in-depth understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, technology applications, business architecture, client and representative experience, and project management

• Background in Business and IT Strategy, Agile, Lean, Process Design, Program Management, Customer Relationship Management processes and technologies

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

• Strong negotiation and business influence skills

• Ability to distill strategy, analytics and varied sets of input to drive decisions across stakeholder communities

. 1-2 years of Schwab domain experience gained as a current or recent contractor or employee

• Building credibility with peers and key stakeholders (at all levels of the organization) to be able to drive action

• Comfort in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment, with a positive attitude and solid work ethic. Self-starter with outstanding organizational skills. Curiosity to continually reevaluate existing user interactions

• Ability to track and manage multiple projects. Good understanding and/or experience with financial services regulations is a plus

• A strong track record of performance

• BA/BS degree

• Knowledge of Schwab products, services and support systems is a plus

• Knowledge of Agile methods and processes is a plus
