Position Summary
Under general supervision of an Ingenuity Consultant or Senior Program Manager. This position is responsible for training external bootcamp consultants, trainers, and/or assistants either for internal instruction or for Ingenuity licensing clients which includes, developing and delivering customized bootcamp training to clients. This position plays a key role as part of a team that delivers a challenging, immersive, fast-paced, highly technical training bootcamp. The Bootcamp Trainer engages students by teaching curriculum in a unique format that can take a student with basic computer skills to a highly technical career in just 10-12 weeks including; teaching, curriculum development, technical project management, technical coaching, and the development of software or hardware applications or digital content to be used for learning in the bootcamp.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Trains external bootcamp consultants, trainers, and/or assistants for Ingenuity licensing clients.
  • Develops and delivers customized technology bootcamp training for clients.
  • Responsible for quarterly curriculum updates to licensing partners.
  • Researches and proposes new technologies to be included in curriculum updates.
  • Identifies and develops new business through networking; prepares and delivers client presentations and demonstrations of software and other services.
  • Analyzes client needs and designs systems to meet those needs; may recommend software upgrades or write computer programs.
  • Administers technology architecture, infrastructure and/or web applications directly related to bootcamp needs.
  • Creates, designs and maintains customized server, network, and containerization solutions critical for student success.
  • May lead bootcamps in absence of Ingenuity Consultant.
  • Participates in continual professional development activities to maintain current discipline knowledge and instructional methods.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifcations:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related industry and one (1) year related industry experience and one (1) year experience in teaching or training a coding bootcamp
  • OR
  • Associates Degree in related industry and three (3) years related industry experience and one (1) year experience in teaching or training
  • OR
  • Five (5) years' experience as an assistant or trainer for a technology bootcamp program.

Preferences:

  • 5+ years maintenance experience in advanced manufacturing environment.
  • 5+ years experience operating an maintaining either high vacuum system or laser/photonics based systems, ideally both.
  • Lean Manufacturing experience.
