What you will be doing
Summary:
This position is accountable for preparing and managing bills and invoices for clients as well as creating reports used by Customer Service and Vendor Management to facilitate the client payment process.This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cost allocation/PO match reporting
- Process/audit the data to ensure customer's billing meets expectations and is accurate
- Prepares accurate and timely weekly and monthly invoices, statements, and billing reports for customers
- Sends bills/invoices with detail to customers
- Works with client and internal resources as necessary to develop standards and rules regarding customer's reporting requirements
- Represent the department at internal and external meetings regarding invoicing and reporting
- Fields customer requests regarding bills
- Collaborate with Client Services Departments on invoice issues
- Participates in continuous professional, self development courses as assigned
What your background should look like
- Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a two year associate's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Normally requires less than one (1) year directly related experience
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Works well under pressure and effective at meeting deadlines
- Familiarity with global geographical locations, airport codes
- Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
