This is a full time, remote opportunity to support the Department of Energy. Candidates must be comfortable working in a remote setting and travelling to work 1 week / month onsite at Oak Ridge, TN.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Facilitates and participates in programs supporting architecture governance, guidelines, and strategy.

Partners with business units to align their goals and ensure IT can identify maturity gaps, communicate recommendations, and deliver standardized and scalable solutions.

Work with all levels of management to understand strategic vision and then produce strategic roadmaps.

Setup of templates to be utilized by the larger team going forward.

Experience with DOD Architecture Framework (DODAF)
Experience with EA Frameworks (TOGAF)
Experience in executing long term, strategic planning.
Visio experience to execute strategic drawings.
Experience with architecture tools

Qualifications:
Must hold an active Top Secret or Q-Level security clearance.
PhD in a technical field with limited experience or Master's degree in a technical field and 2 to 5 years of related experience or Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 5 to 10 years of related experience or Associates degree in a technical field and 10 to 15 years of related experience.
5+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architect working with DOD Architecture Framework.
Requires demonstrated in-depth knowledge and skills in a technical specialty. Recognized as an expert in their field.
