The Role
Key Responsibilities:
Sr. Software Engineers for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ: Chicago, IL). Independently design and develop new software applications and solutions. Perform full stack software development. Design interface programs and perform unit and integration testing of software business units. Administer and coordinate user interface design. Analyze and research current and continuing information system requirements. Develop SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and calculate information to fulfill data and application requirements. Program and optimize database stored procedures, functions, tables, and views. Document the code such that the function of the code is clear. Technical Environment: microservice architecture using .NET, Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless technologies in Azure; object-oriented software; C#, .NET, Python, MVC, Web Services, REST APIs, MS SQL Server, Visual Studio; security requirements, service-oriented architecture, serverless architecture, domain driven design patterns; brownfield and greenfield projects; documenting code and using UML; ASP.Net, MVC Web applications using C#; ASP.Net Core applications using C#; Azure, Web APIs; Docker, Kubernetes; JAMS tool; Windows; DEV, QA, UAT, and PROD environments for systematic testing and deployment; Remedy force.

Requirements:
Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Applications or Computer Engineering or any Engineering or related field plus 2 years of experience as a Software Developer or with Software Development required. Required skills: Experience with full stack development with microservice architecture using .Net, Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless technologies in Azure; object-oriented software development; C#, .NET, MVC, Web Services, REST APIs and MS SQL Server, and Visual Studio; security requirements, service-oriented architecture, serverless architecture, domain driven design patterns; experience with brownfield and greenfield projects; excellent written and verbal communication skills required, including documenting code and using UML. Telecommuting permitted. (Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Applications or Computer Engineering or any Engineering or related field plus 5 years of progressive experience as a Software Developer or with Software Development also acceptable.)
