The Problems You'll Solve

Our journey started with digitized stock certificates. Those twenty dollar digital stock certificates turned into our flagship Cap Table Management solution. And we have continued to innovate atop our flagship product: launching into new verticals, building a Fund Administration business to help venture and private equity investors manage their funds, helping our customers make smarter compensation decisions (Total Compensation), access expert tax and equity advice (Equity Advisory), raise new rounds (Fundraising) and more.

As Carta's Head of Product Marketing, you will:

  • Develop our product messaging and positioning, ensuring our message is informed by a deep understanding of our users, our product, and the market.
  • Manage a team of product marketing managers, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to drive their professional growth and success.
  • Work with product management, marketing, business development, and sales to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature updates.
  • Advocate for Carta's users, working closely with customer success to gather and synthesize feedback and partnering with product to inform the roadmap and strategy.
  • Partner across Carta's product, engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to drive forward our go-to-market and launch initiatives.
  • Define and measure success, ensuring that we're tracking the right metrics and delivering on our mission of driving product adoption.
  • Enable our sales and marketing teams with sales enablement materials, including presentations, battle cards, and product collateral, to ensure we're effectively communicating our value proposition.

The Team You'll Work With

At Carta, Product Marketing is a highly cross-functional team with a mission to build deep insights about our customers and use those insights to launch with velocity and impact, drive adoption of the product, and inform the product strategy. Our product marketing team works across every stage of the product process, from ideation and development through to launch and measurement.

As the Head of Product Marketing at Carta, you will lead a team of Product Marketing Managers to develop and execute product marketing strategies to drive the adoption and growth of Carta with our customers.

  • You're highly organized, able to manage complex projects across multiple work-streams, and drive velocity in a multi-product organization.
  • You have managed and mentored teams in a complex organizational structure. You build and support high-performing, thriving organizations, and are able to work across a range of disciplines to get things done.
