Merge is seeking a Head of Product Marketing to strategically build and lead our product marketing function and assist in elevating Merge to the next level of customer expansion. We’re looking for a leader who is passionate about understanding customer needs, digging into product details, and creating messaging to deliver value-driven, breakthrough initiatives. The person in this leadership role must have outstanding communication, leadership, and marketing skills, and they will work closely with colleagues on teams including product, sales, growth, partnerships, and others.

What you will do:

  • Build Strategic Narratives, Messaging and Positioning: craft and optimize positioning and messaging (including market, company, platform, product, and competitive positioning) to equip sales teams to close deals, support successful product launches, and deploy through all market-facing communication touch points (website, sales messages, SDR, content, etc.)
  • Engage with current and prospective customers, champion their needs and motivations in brand and roadmap, and guide the team to evangelize new concepts and how to get the most from Merge
  • Design and maintain an end-to-end customer journey for buyer personas with revenue leadership; use it to implement acquisition, activation, and expansion motions
  • Collaborate with sales and other customer-facing functions to develop proactive enablement materials, value tools, and plays that boost our ability to win deals, consult customers, and add value to their Merge experience
  • Educate industry analysts, prospects, and customers about Merge’s vision and solutions, in meetings, webinars, conferences and tradeshows
  • Thought Leadership through participating in event presentations, writing compelling articles, and briefing decision makers, all in an effort to solidify our position as the thought leader in our space
Compensation
  • The cash compensation range for this role is $175,000 - $235,000
  • Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications. In addition to cash compensation, all employees receive an equity compensation package.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of relevant Product Marketing experience with responsibility and ownership of greater Product Marketing direction and strategy
  • Experience with leading a team of Product Marketers is a plus
  • Experience differentiating technical products to both technical users and economic decision makers
  • Succinct, clear, and excellent written communication skills
  • Clear, engaging, and personable presentation skills effective in small, private groups as well as large, public audiences
  • Strong communication skills & ability to align with internal stakeholders, including sales, product management, and other marketing functions
