This position reports directly to a Manager+, Associate Compute Experience

What you will do - Essential Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements to determine system design requirements, identify potential issues, and perform cost analysis related costs to each project.
- Serve as the lead SME for small projects during the implementation of enterprise tools, technologies, and processes
- Proactively research and assess technologies issues and provide solutions for monitoring, alerting and self-service capabilities
- Evaluates and interprets complex system error logs, performance metrics, and other application or end point output to identify problems in end point performance or application execution
- Implement security and management utilities of technology infrastructure including by not limited to virtual desktops, mobile devices, personal computers and attached peripherals
- Perform basic administration of virtual/physical servers and endpoints and attached peripherals to include but not limited to operating systems, platform upgrades and security patching
- Drive efficient resolution for system outages as well as performance and functional shortcomings
- Limited on-call rotation required
Purpose of the role
It takes a passion for technology to solution develop and iterate on innovative solutions to problems. You will partner with other Engineers in product and technology to influence the direction for the organization as we establish the patterns, guidance and design for building and deploying infrastructure to support both customer and internal facing applications. You will serve as an expert on our technical designs and standards. You should have strong communications skills, a strong sense of ownership, a passion for customer service, and an immediate technical understanding of how our infrastructure platforms can contribute to the overall successful of our application development.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related Technology field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of work experience
- Experience implementing and maintaining highly secure infrastructure solutions.
- Experience with multiple hardware\software platforms
- Windows OS
- MAC OS
- Microsoft Office 365
- Platform management tools i.e. JAMF and MECM
- Support of Teams Equipment
- Support of Network and Wireless Infrastructure
- Mobile Devices
- Virtual Desktops
- PowerShell knowledge
- Monitoring tools such as Splunk, Zabbix, EgInnovations, etc
- Experience with creating and maintaining support knowledge articles and technical documentation
Work Location and Arrangement: This role will be based out of the Richmond, VA Technology Innovation Center and have a Hybrid work arrangement.
Work Authorization: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Sponsorship will not be considered for this role.
