About the role

We are looking for a VP of Product based in our NYC office. We are looking for a strategic leader to make an impact. You will play a big role and you will be key to our company's next stage of growth. If you are excited to dig in and join a fun, creative, and driven team, this is the role for you!

The VP of Product will be responsible for evolving Carbyne's current and future product suite. This individual will collaboratively set the direction and manage a validated product plan strategy and delivery for all of Carbyne's business verticals. This role will work closely with software development, sales, marketing, and technical support to ensure product milestones, launch plans, and customer satisfaction (both internal and external) goals are met.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product roadmap and strategy aligned with Carbyne's mission, vision, and objectives while emphasizing customer behavior as the key metric for business success.
  • Collaborate across teams to effectively communicate strategic product plans to internal stakeholders, manage feedback and adjust priorities appropriately. This individual will work with the CTO and R&D team to ensure product and technology strategies are aligned.
  • Foster a culture of continuous discovery and experimentation to discover new products that create customer and business value.
  • Have a customer-first mindset across the organization
  • Establish KPIs to measure product success, including user adoption, retention, customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
  • Drives initiatives to optimize product performance and achieve strategic objectives
  • Develop staff with a focus on increasing the team's product management skills.

Requirements

  • At least 15 years of experience in Product Management, preferably in a B2B Software SaaS business. Experience in GovTech is a Bonus.
  • Experience in applying principles of customer-centric product development and leveraging customer behavior data to drive business outcomes.
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies, and product management frameworks, with a focus on delivering scalable and innovative solutions.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team, influence stakeholders, and build consensus around product vision and priorities. A manager the team can look up to and learn from.
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making, interpreting market insights and translating data into actionable insights.
  • Comfortable with multi-tasking, resolving competing priorities and meeting project deadlines

If your position is based in Carbyne's NYC office or will require travel to the NYC office, your offer will be contingent upon proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

The pay range for this position in New York City is $240,000-$280,000 + bonus + equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401K). Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
