We're searching for a driven, ambitious, and results-oriented Regional Sales Director on the East Coast to join our dynamic and growing organization, help drive strategy, and take a consultative approach to sell our solutions to public safety agencies. You'll love this opportunity if you're forward-thinking, technically oriented, consultative, and have the know-how to create solutions for client challenges.

As a Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of 6-8 sales professionals, to bring in new business as well as work with our existing clients to expand the use of our different products. Your team sells directly to public safety accounts and works closely with our channels and partners to do the same. You'll articulate complex solutions, build and maintain senior-level relationships, and navigate across various decision-makers. You'll shape solutions to agency and stakeholder challenges, serving as their trusted advisor and change agent.

Requirements

  • Develop and maintain senior and executive-level client relationships to ultimately drive revenue growth
  • Developing territory strategies, that involve both direct and indirect sales motions, to deliver on-target revenue
  • Provide support and mentorship by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings or engaging other corporate resources as required
  • Development of a winning team to sustain growth targets,Coaching and mentoring of new and existing team members
  • Actively monitoring and Participating in Demand Generations activities to build pipeline to support growth
  • Hire and on-board new employees
  • Provide accurate forecasts on weekly basis

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of demonstrated sales leadership experience and success in a high-growth organization
  • At least 10 years of demonstrated successful industry sales, with a focus on software, services, platform integration, and/or network services (Selling SaaS and cloud experience a must).
  • Must reside in NY, PA, or Washington, DC area
  • Experience managing large/strategic accounts, long sales cycles, and selling complex solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment and ability to adjust to new markets or conditions
  • Demonstrated understanding of contact center technologies and addressing modern challenges in the contact center
  • Experience in creating and executing long-term sales plans
  • Ability to clearly and directly articulate complex solution offerings with a strong technical orientation.
  • Self-motivated with a can-do approach - "create the solution" philosophy
  • Strong attention to detail, creative, open-minded, focused, and highly collaborative
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel to customers as needed (up to 50% of the time)

Nice to have:

  • Demonstrated understanding of PSAP and stakeholder agency technology and service is a plus but not a requirement
  • Demonstrated success in Government sales

If your position is based in Carbyne's NYC office or will require travel to the NYC office, your offer will be contingent upon proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

The pay range for this position in New York City is $150,000 - $175,000 + Incentive plan + equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401K). Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
